Reviewed inputs from others before making purchase. These speakers are perfect for the F150. Takes all of 10min to make connections and then your audio goes from night to day. Excellent quality. Bass response second to none. Considering adding 2 more to the rear doors. Would recommend to another looking for a speaker that rocks but is easy on the wallet.

These speakers are awesome for the price. I replaced the cheap factory speakers with these and the quality is much improved, you can really hear much more depth and distinct sounds in the music.

Bought these to complement the 6x9" 3-way units I put in the rear deck of my Mazda 626, and the they're just as good as their slightly larger brethren. Tight bass, great highs, and natural mids. I was able to crank my old stereo unit up without any distortion (ignoring the rattling of door panels and windows ;] ), can't wait to see how they perform with the new stereo head unit.
As a note though, these do not come with baffles! Why is this a problem? Because going through heavy rain or a car wash sends a cascade of water down through the inside of your doors, and if the speaker compartment isn't separated you run the risk of getting these things soaked which could result in electrical problems. This is easily fixed however by going to the nearest auto parts store or even Walmart and buying some plastic or foam baffles for a few bucks. This is of course assuming these are going into the doors, if not then you've got nothing to worry about.

I got these speakers to replace the stock speakers in my 98 Mercury Mystique. Installation was easy with the included harnesses. These speakers fit right in with no modifications. Sound quality is much better than before. Even with the stock cassette/radio, the mids and highs are much clearer, with a small improvement in bass. These speakers really do need a much better source though, that's why I upgraded to a Pioneer DEH-2100IB receiver shortly after installing them. Now I have incredible audio in my car. Crystal clear highs and mids and very present bass. Note that the bass won't go that low simply due to the relatively small size of these speakers (compared to 6x9's or 6" round speakers) so on some rap songs it seems to be lacking. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend these.

So i picked up a pair of these speakers at Wal-Mart the other day to replace my so called "premium sound" speakers in my mustang. These speaker make a big difference in sound without a big difference in the wallet. I liked them so much, i went around and bought the same exact speaker on amazon only its a 4 way. The 4 ways on amazon were cheaper than the 3 ways at Wallie World. Go Figure. The reason i gave it a four is because its not the best speaker on the market. But its awesome for the price.
