I do not own this amp but noticed a discrepancy. The specs in the user manual are lower than advertised specs. The specs per the user manual are below (ONLY, but always, compare RMS Watts between amps):
MODEL: MXA 422
RMS at 4 Ohms: 4 x 75W
MAX at 4 Ohms: 4 x 500W
[ed. max] At 4 Ohms Bridged: 2 x 1000W
RMS at 2 Ohms: 4 x 120W
Min. Speaker Impedance: 2 ohm
This is also the case on the Vibe286 and likely other Lanzar amplifiers, so this is just an FYI to check the user manual for any Lanzar amp you are considering. This does not mean it is a bad amplifier, just that you need to know the real RMS power it has to determine it's "Cost per Watt" so you can compare to other amplifiers. If you are buying an amp, RMS Watts below an acceptable THD should be your primary consideration.

This is a great amp i only have it turned up half of the way and i cant even stand it. It so loud buy it!!!

I put the Lanzar MXA422 Max Pro in my boat. It's in an area that's completely dry. This amp is ROCKIN'. My boat is so loud I have people all over the place (from the shore and other boats)looking @ where all that obnoxiously loud music is coming from. I have this amp pushing a set of Sampson co-axle Tower speakers as well as a set of MB quarts 6x9's. And WOW. I have one other set of speakers in my boat besides the ones hooked to this amp. They are a set of 6.5 infinity KAPPA's and all together this whole system now ROCKS. After I had this new amp put in. I went to pick up my boat @ the stereo shop and I couldn't believe the difference. It's incredible. I was also impressed on how quickly I received it after the order. This entire transaction has been a painless effortless experience. Great item, quick shipping and everything they described. I don't know who might read this review but this amp even though it's not a "Fosgate, MB Quarts or Alpine" is really pushing a ton of power. I would recommend this to any and all my friends.
