I bought this for my wife who wanted a portable radio/CD/cassette player for her work room. The Philips AZ1027/05 is ideal and easy to use with excellent sound quality for such a compact machine at a very reasonable price.

Bought this for my kitchen and I am very pleased with it. It fits neatly in a corner and has a very good sound quality for the price I paid.The CD player and radio are easy to operate. All in all a very good product for the money.

Purchased for use in kitchen and then to be put away until needed again.
Went for Philips because previous (second hand) Philips cassette radio had given many hours of sterling service before motor failure.
Inital impression very good: attractive appearance, useful carrying handle and in my view excellent sound quality.
Both CD player and radio worked ok but my main reason for purchase was for a portable tape cassette player. Unfortunately in under 10 plays the cassette motor noise increased and became unacceptable.
Unit has since been returned for refund.
The Amazon delivery service was excellent (unit arrived within 3 days on free delivery) and was well packaged.
Maybe I was just unlucky..

I bought this CD and Cassette Player because of the good reviews it had received.

It is a great little machine. It sits nicely in the corner of the kitchen. It's easy to use. The sound is good. The radio reception is fine. Even old tapes sound better than on my old machine.
